Injection Monitoring System

Guydon Software Services and AMCS have teamed up to create an instrumentation and computer system to derive the Shoe Pressure for Waste Disposal Wells. The system measures fluid properties ( pressure, flow rate, density & temperature) as well as user input about the physical geometry of the well and fluid viscosity properties. These measurements are taken from fluids entering the well-head of a waste disposal well. The data is transmitted to Guydon Software’s SMARTS program, which calculates the pressure at the shoe of the disposal well. The computer also data-logs the injection processes and creates EPA and Customized Company reports.

We’ve built and installed four of these systems in Alaska so far.
